Dr Dean Laplonge

Dean has a rich and diverse background in education, financial and charity institutions, tourism, and government departments. He has a PhD in Communication and Cultural Studies (Curtin), a Masters in Theatre Studies (UNSW) and a Bachelor degree in Chinese and Japanese Studies (Leeds).

He has lived and worked in Europe, China, Taiwan, Japan and now Sydney and Perth.

Kelvin-Jay Hourquebie

With extensive experience as a musician and theatre practitioner, KJ has worked as a designer, journalist, photographer, playwright, director, actor and teacher. His studies include journalism, film-making, teaching, performance, and communication and cultural studies. KJ has lived in South Africa, London and Perth. He is currently writing a new play and working on his first novel, while also devoting 80 hours each week to Media Panic!

Morgan William Laplonge

With a background in Computer Science, Morgan has offered extensive IT consultation to the retail sector and, more recently, communication and change management consultation to the mining industry.

He is currently completing his Masters in Business through the University of Western Australia.

Georgina Arnott

Georgina has extensive experience in conducting research work on Australian cultural history and literature.

She holds a Masters in English and Cultural Studies from the University of Melbourne, and is currently working on her PhD at Curtin University.

She has taught in her primary field of interest at university level, and has also worked as an English Teacher in East Timor.

Xiaohua Zhao (David)

Xiaohua (David) is a NAATI accredited translator. He has a Masters in Business Administration (Wales) a Diploma in Business Administration (Dalian), and is now conducting his PhD research on Communicative Strategies in Chinese Business Negotiations.

With extensive experience in translating and intercultural communications, he has consulted to Dalian Maple Leaf Education Group, a Sino-Canadian international education institution, for almost a decade.

Timmy

Timmy spent the first year of his life in an unknown location. He was discovered in a dog home in early 2001 and has been surrounded with love and cuddles ever since. He is now busily employed in our office where he lazes around all day waiting for people to pat him and feed him treats.
